How it works ?
It reacts by interacting with the negatively charged
clay particles present in soil. They modify the electrical
double layer surrounding the particles, reducing their
affinity for water and decreasing the thickness of the
absorbed moisture layer.
During compaction, this allows soil particles to move
closer together that result is a dense, durable, and
water-resistant soil structure that supports long-term
performance in road and infrastructure projects while
significantly reducing environmental impact.
Stabilization additionally lock up 70-80 % of the fines that create fugitive dust. When the gradation of road is well
managed during stabilization, it forms a hard firm surface to which it shows very little dust generation over time. If
it is not a clay bearing soil - dust will generate at the surface within the first few weeks.
